Narthex/Gathering Space Exterior

Peaceful rock gardens surround the Narthex suggesting our rootedness in the earth. Sweeping architectural lines reach heavenward.  The Celtic Cross from the original Church peak   reminds us that we are on Holy Ground.

Diamond shaped walkways invite us into the Gathering Space with a sense of journey. The predominance of glass reflects that all are welcome in this place.  Wave pattern bronze door   handles represent the timelessness of worship.

Plaza Lower Level

The lower level plaza entrance is framed by the  30 foot majestic window mirroring our journey from God’s “Glory to Glory.”

A broad staircase rises toward the main    floor of the Narthex.

An elevator assures accessibility for all.

Plaza Upper Level and Carport

The circular plaza is highlighted by the statue of St. Pius X, our Patron, and is fashioned in limestone from the original
church facade.

In fair weather, after Mass gatherings flow into the plaza area. During inclement weather, the carport is a dry and safe option.

All entrances to the Narthex are handicapped accessible.
